“An Overview of Montessori” is for traditional or Montessori school staff, parents, or college education majors who want to:

• Increase Their Understanding of Montessori Theory and Practice
• Receive an Introduction to the Montessori Curriculum
• Understand Child Development
• Work Together Effectively

“An Overview of Montessori” is specially designed for individuals who are new to the world of Montessori, as well as those who want to better understand the Montessori classroom and its dynamics. Taught by AMSand MACTE-certified teachers, participants in this class will learn about the basics behind the Montessori philosophy of education and curriculum; how Montessori theory ties into child development and learning will be discussed. For the first time ever, this workshop is being offered at no cost to participants.
